Mental Health

Intensive outpatient is a structured, short-term treatment modality providing a combination of individual, group and family therapy. Intensive outpatient programs meet at least three times per week, consisting of a minimum of three (3) hours of treatment per session. These outpatient programs must be supervised by a licensed mental health professional. Intensive outpatient treatment is an alternative to inpatient or partial hospital care and offers intensive, coordinated, multidisciplinary services for Covered Individuals with an active psychiatric or substance related illness’ who are able to function in the community at a minimally appropriate level and present no imminent potential for harm to themselves or others
